Spotlight Paradox (IN ALPHA) » Devlog
heyyoooo i combed through and tackled some more bugsss hiiii
- players should no longer be able to scrollwheel back after a button mashing segment
- mashing tutorial has been FIXED!!!!
- more hookups have been fixed, in theory you should be able to reach all conclusions now
- fixed the bug where all viable deductions would cause an error
- sprites are slowly being implemented
- menus should no longer randomly send you back to old conversations
- started experimenting with hovering over images/people to make it clearer what you can click on
- made the tutorial dialogue a little bit more appropriate for who mortimer is (he isn't anxious he's just paranoid i've made peace with that fact)
there is definitely some rewriting i'm planning to do throughout the next couple of weeks. my process when it comes to writing for games usually starts with a very rough draft before going over it again while sort of "choreographing" the sprites and then going over it a third time to make sure everything makes sense/looks good/etc.
i'm still more focused on bug fixing rn though!! hope you like this actually (theoretically) completable version!
