busy busy bees!!!

hey!! a not-so-quick update, but spotlight paradox *is* still in development, a lot of stuff has just been going on in the background!

we've got some new artists! we've got some redesigns!

by the looovely spruikoh. will also be featuring art by godweaver! (not pictured but trust me the surprises will be plentiful and good)

we've got some new evidence oh god how did the radio end up over there

we've got some new mechanics that aren't quite functioning but they are floating in the game's background right now

plus a second designer to help me out and some placeholder music. we have a potential musician that'll be teaming with us soon!

it's not just me anymore, we're getting a team together!! it's definitely been a lot of growing pains, but i know for a fact that it's the right direction for spotlight paradox to be a fully fledged and complete game. we're also getting a kickstarter together, so there's a LOT more polish needed for that.

what to expect in the future:

• an affection system that allows you to redo interactions (currently you *can* redo interactions already, but this isn't intended for the final game)
• brand spankin' new sprites!
• a ui overhaul!
• more!!! more stuff!!!!!!

really excited to continue with development life is still kicking my ass but i'm getting out of the woods

expect a new build soonish but tbh a good chunk of this stuff won't be in it
