i finally got the time and energy to figure some stuff out with the ui and implement it! it's still a work in progress, obviously so... updates!
- inventory and textboxes now have a ui
- fonts changed to be appropriate with the new ui
- some more dialogue hook ups getting fixed
- "primary suspect" feature added: you'll be able to choose a primary suspect after reading everyone's testimony. this ultimately doesn't do much but serve as a very direct note for who you're chasing after, but i figured it wouldn't hurt to see if it helps avoid analysis paralysis! if you change your mind on who your primary suspect is, you can change it at any time. choosing a primary suspect that doesn't match the conclusion you reached won't prevent you from getting that conclusion
i took a lil break but i'm climbing back to work on this soon! new art has been drawn up for the backgrounds and taffy's sprites!
i don't plan on implementing the sprites until they're done for every character! vallydoart is doing the majority of the artwork for the game and she's been reeeeally easy to work with, it's really just a matter of me being able to afford the commissions lol
